Biography

Dr. Jonathan E. Ogbuabor holds a First Class Honours BSc degree in Computer Science & Statistics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN); an MBA in Banking & Finance and an MSc in Economics both from ESUT, Enugu; an MSc in Economics from the University of York, United Kingdom; and a PhD in Economics from UNN.

Jonathan is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), the Institute of Credit Administration, Nigeria (ICA), and an ICAN certified International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) expert.

Jonathan was formerly the Regional Head, Risk Management Group, Intercontinental Bank Plc (now Access Bank Plc), Port Harcourt.

Presently, he is a Senior Lecturer, Department of Economics, UNN.

He is also the Chairman of the Nsukka & District Society of ICAN.

His working experience spans banking, credit administration, risk management, auditing, financial reporting and analysis, and lecturing.

He is the Coordinator, Public-Private Partnership, UNN Centre for Business Development.
