Prof. Osita Ogbu

Biography

Prof Osita Ogbu is a professor of Economics and Director Institute for Development Studies, University of Nigeria Enugu Campus, he had his first degree B.Sc Economics  in 1979 from University of Nigeria Nsukka, M.A Economics in 1984 from Howard University, Washington D.C, USA, and Ph.D Economics in 1988 also from Howard University, Washington D.C ,USA , and Certificate in Corporate  Governance in July 2009 from Harvard University Business School, Boston, USA. He has lived and worked in Canada, Kenya, Nigeria and United States of America and working experience in more than 40 other countries. He has over 25 years of professional experience in research, research management, institution building, policy advice and executive leadership and has published several papers in both local and International journals. He is a member of many Local and International Boards and Professional Associations and has also received many Local and International awards.
